What Difference Does It Make How Love Expresses?

When I went to visit my mother in hospital yesterday, I noticed she had lots of fruits, which her daughter-in-law and a friend had brought for her. I said the fruits were a reminder of how good things come from everywhere. I said sometimes when we are set in our ways about how things should turn out, we are not open for good to come from other channels.

Mum agreed. She said her operation could have been done a lot sooner if she wasn't so adamant that a certain consultant should perform it. Her GP (General Practitioner/doctor) had recommended this particular consultant. After the initial consultation, he agreed to perform the operation; mum was then allocated a date for the surgery. The date was then moved forward because the consultant wasn't going to be available. What mum didn't tell me was that she'd been offered the option of another consultant performing the operation in January. Mum chose to wait till the end of February for her operation. A few days before the date, the hospital rang to notify her that her consultant wasn't going to be available after all. Was she willing to have another consultant perform the operation two days early? By then mum was getting pretty desperate so she agreed. If she had insisted on waiting for the consultant, I daresay she would have been waiting for another month, even longer.

When mum told me she had decided to have another consultant perform the surgery, I reminded her that it didn't matter who performed the operation. All that matters is that Divine Love will be working through the instruments - surgeon and nurses - concerned.

Divine Love meets us exactly where we are at i.e. Love expresses according to our beliefs. Love will work through any channel or channels to do the healing; we simply need to be open.
