Tintin Books I've Now Read

Tintin books I've now read:

"The Shooting Star" (the one about the race to find the rare metal).

"The Broken Ear" (the one about the artefact stolen from the museum)

"The Castafiore Emerald" (the one about the famous singer who paid Haddock a visit; the broken step and the Thompson Twins at their best).

"The Seven Crystal Balls" (the one where seven explorers who were struck by a mysterious illness; and Professor Calculus is kidnapped)

"Prisoners of the Sun" (Tintin, Captain Haddock and The Thompson Twins travel to Peru to rescue Professor Calculus).

"Tintin and the Lake of Sharks" (Tintin meets his old enemy, Rastapopoulos).

"Flight 714" (On their way to Australia, Tintin, Haddock and Calculus are kidnapped and he meets his old enemy Rastapopoulos).

"The Black Island" (Tintin discovers the secret of the island in Scotland).

"The Calculus Affair" (Professor Calculus is kidnapped because of his new invention; and Tintin and Haddock to the rescue).

"Tintin and the Picaros" (Tintin assists General Alcazar and his Picaros to overthrow the military dictatorship in San Theodoros).

"Cigars of the Pharoahs" (Tintin investigates why many Egyptologists have gone missing only to discover drug smuggling involved).

"Destination Moon" (Tintin and Captain Haddock are invited to join Professor Calculus in his quest to be the first explorers on the moon).

"Explorers on the Moon" (Tintin and friends make a trip to the moon however there are intruders on board the rocket).

"Tintin in America" (Tintin travels to America to clean up Chicago's underworld).

"King Ottakar's Sceptre" (When Tintin travels to Syldavia and gets mixed up in a rebel plot to depose the Syldavian king).

"The Blue Lotus" (Tintin is in China).

"The Crab with the Golden Claws" (Tintin on the trail of a dangerous gang of opium-smugglers. His first encounter with Captain Haddock)

"Tintin in Congo" (Tintin and Snowy go on a hunting expedition).

"Tintin in Tibet" (Tintin has a premonition that his Chinese friend, Chang needs his help. Despite appearances to the contrary, Tintin and Haddock fly to Tibet to rescue Chang. Easily the best Tintin book I've read so far).

"Red Rackham's Treasure" (Tintin and Haddock set off on an adventure to find a box of treasure believed to be hidden in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean).

"The Red Sea Sharks" (Tintin and Haddock go to the Middle East to help an old friend only to find themselves embroiled in gangsters and slave trading. The leader of the gangsters, Marquis di Gorgonzola is no other than Tintin's nemesis - Rastapapoulos).
