A Reminder to Be Myself

On the bus a young man sat behind me and he started coughing and sneezing. I could also hear other passengers coughing and sneezing downstairs. To paraphrase Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca, of all the seat joints on this bus he has to sit right behind me.

What to do? I had three options.

As there were other seats available, I could sit as far away from the man as possible. I could even get off the bus and wait for another bus.

I could put my hood up to protect myself.

I could use truth principles by denying the existence of cough and cold.

I could even create a shield around me. There are various energy shields one could use: protection against the environment and pollution; protection against thoughts and emotions; protection against all kinds of attacks. I could programme the shield to either bounce back whatever it is back to sender, or I could send it back with love.

Be Myself

I could simply be myself. I thought: I AM the Sun radiating my rays of love, peace, joy, harmony and freedom to all. As if by magic the guy behind me stopped coughing and the rest of the bus went quiet.

Thank you fellow passengers for reminding me to be myself.

I am Light; I am Love.
