In a previous piece called Nectar, I wrote about how I'm experiencing a sweet flavour in my saliva. It's something that's been gradually building up and now I taste that sweetness all the time. The only snag about having the sweet taste is it makes all food taste the same. Now I find I have to be very present when I'm eating. I guess this has to a good thing because I used to just wolf things down; now I focus on savouring the taste.
I've noticed that as soon as I've finished eating, the sweet taste takes over and it's as if I haven't had anything. The sweetness is in my mouth when I go to bed and in my mouth when I wake up. This means my mouth tastes sweet whether I brush my teeth or not.
I believe the taste is symbolic of the Light and Love that I am that is Perfection; nothing can be added to or taken away from Perfection. It's like I'm being giving a clean slate every moment.
How sweet is love.
